Earlier this week, Recovery Action Network’s Executive Director, Allison Herrst, visited Michigan State University’s campus to speak with first year medical students about substance use disorder (SUD) and peer support. Along with providing evidence-based information on peer support, Allison shared her lived experience with active addiction and long-term recovery to reduce stigma and educate future
